The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is intended to protect the privacy of student educational records. This website uses the Gradekeeper student grade program. To protect student (recruit) identity, student’s (recruit’s) names are not included. Each student (recruit) is assigned a randomly generated number that they must log in with to obtain their current grade information. ONLY authorized LASD explorer academy staff members,the individual student (recruit) and/or their parent/legal guardian (if under 18 years of age) are permitted to have access to the student’s (recruit’s) identification number. LASD explorer academy staff members are expressly prohibited from providing a student (recruit) identification number(s) to anyone not authorized to have access to or receive that information.
